Coconut Aminos

Coconut Aminos Sauce

Another amazing product derived from the coconut palm tree. Today's soy sauce products are made with chemicals and not fermented in the natural way that tradition intended. This makes over the counter soy products unhealthy.

This coconut product is the perfect replacement and completely natural with added health benefits.

What is Coconut Aminos?

It is a dark, salty, sweetish, yummy sauce. This condiment is low glycemic, vegan, it is soy and gluten free. This makes it a wonderful soy sauce alternative for those who are avoiding soy and/or gluten and/or on a paleo diet.

Coconut amino is not made from the actual coconut, but from coconut tree blossoms. The sap is mixed with sea salt and then aged naturally. This sauce generally has about 65% less sodium than regular soy sauces.

Containers are used to collect the sap, as seen in the picture. The sap is white in color (see picture). Coconut blossom is naturally neutral in PH and naturally sweet.

The Benefits of Coconut Aminos

The sap is a definite “super food” as it contains an array of minerals and vitamins including Potassium, vitamin C, Vitamin B and amino acids.

These properties provide electrolyte balance, antioxidants for immune protection, reduction of inflammation, mood elevation and alkalinity for improved bodily functions.

Coconut Aminos Whole Foods

"Whole Foods" refers to food that has been processed and/or refined as little as possible and that contain no additives or artificial ingredients.

Because this sauce is not heated, it remains “raw”. This means that all the enzymes are still alive.

How to Use it

Coconut liquid aminos are often used in meat and chicken marinades, stir-fries, salad dressings, soups, stews or as a dipping sauce (especially nice as a sushi dipping sauce). And many other. Share your favorite recipes in our comment box below.
